Once again, the Striders Women's Teams scored big!!! Because 3 women showed up for the 60+ division, the Striders got 10 points in the Grand Prix Overall - the same number of points an open team gets for winning. Madeline should be happy - I guess her call to show up at Grand Prix races was heeded. Fortunately, someone convinced Barb Ellicott that if she showed up, she could help the teams score high. She finished 2nd in the 50+ and 3rd in the 60+ to give the Striders some big points.
Besides all the points scored by the women's 50 and 60 teams, the women's masters continued to be very competitive, led by Linda Mirabella, Pam Fales and Eva Fisher.
As usual, the Men's 50 team placed 2nd behind RVRR.
