Despite having only 8 runners, we were able to enter teams in three divisions with the following results:
Open men 7th place; Men’s masters 40 4th place; Men’s masters 50 2nd place
The Striders are currently trailing RVRR by two points for the men’s 50 team championship, so it looks like it will come down to the 10 mile race to determine the champion.

It looks like everyone had a good running day in Scranton. Wendy, who was featured in Madeline’s running column the day of race, had a great race beating her PR by over 11 minutes. In fact Wendy was able to make up almost 5 minutes on the winning runner over the last 8 miles to finish only 9 seconds behind her. I believe that Eva also set a PR beating her previous best time by several minutes.

The Striders men’s open team finished in seventh place. The Striders have managed to score points in all the open championship races this year. A big improvement over previous years.
